Mr. DJ Jeyaram provides legal services to a wide variety of healthcare providers including physicians, hospitals, pharmacies, and nursing homes. Mr. Jeyaram concentrates in healthcare regulatory matters, primarily in administrative appeals, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, and program integrity audits and investigations.

Mr. Jeyaram has significant experience appearing before the Composite State Medical Board and the Department of Community Health, representing more than 70 pharmacies against state audit and recoupment actions. In addition, he has represented several healthcare providers before the Office of Regulatory Services and the Department of Health and Human Services. Mr. Jeyaram's practice also includes assisting clients with EMTALA and HIPAA issues, Certificate of Need (CON), Letters of Non-Reviewability (LNR), acquisition and opposition, as well as negotiating business, employment and contractual relationships between healthcare providers.

Prior to establishing his own practice, Mr. Jeyaram was with Morris, Manning & Martin in the firm's healthcare group. In addition, Mr. Jeyaram's experience includes serving as the Deputy Director for Legal Services with the Georgia Department of Community Health and as an Administrative Law Judge with the Office of State Administrative Hearings.

While an Administrative Law Judge, Mr. Jeyaram's cases centered on Medicaid/DCH provider reimbursement, and he had primary responsibility for all healthcare provider litigation including program integrity issues, medical necessity and utilization review.

Today, Mr. Jeyaram offers clients big law firm expertise at more affordable rates with a higher degree of client service.

Ms. Angela Branch Ms. Branch has more than 25 years of experience in practicing law and is certified in Health Care Compliance and Health Care Research Compliance. Ms. Branch's areas of expertise include: 

  • HIPAA
  • Medicare and Medicaid billing and coding audits
  • Georgia and federal False Claims Acts
  • Anti-Kickback and Stark issues

Ms. Branch was formerly an administrative law judge for the Georgia Office of Administrative Appeals where she also served as a Division Director and as the first Clerk of Court. Ms. Branch subsequently accepted a position with the Georgia Department of Community Health (“DCH”), the state Medicaid agency, as its primary counsel for administrative appeals. She was later appointed Director of DCH’s Legal Services Section, Director of Special Projects and Acting General Counsel. In that capacity, she provided counsel to the Division of Medical Assistance, the State Children’s Health Insurance Program, the Managed Care Program, and the Office of Financial Management.

She also assisted and advised DCH’s Office of Inspector General regarding both internal and external investigations. In addition, she represented the DCH in hearings regarding provider sanction and termination actions and in recipient hearings including the Early Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (“EPSDT”) Program, the Georgia Pediatric Program (“GAPP”)/Model Waiver, the long-term care programs and the Community Home-Based Service Waiver programs.

Upon leaving the Department of Community Health, Ms. Branch accepted a position with Piedmont Healthcare, Inc. (“PHC”). As the PHC Director of Compliance, she gained considerable experience in the private sector of the healthcare industry. She was responsible for managing PHC’s Corporate Compliance Department comprised of an auditor, an educator, a compliance specialist and an appeals coordinator and managing significant compliance initiatives, including responding to a CMS Certification of Compliance Agreement, revising the HIPAA privacy notices, revising the False Claims Act policy, rewriting the PHC Code of Conduct and developing a government audit response and appeal process for Medicare and Medicaid appeals. While at PHC, Ms. Branch also project-managed the implementation of a vendor control program and the development of a custom compliance educational program.

Ms. Branch is also a member of Georgia Bar Association’s Health Law Section’s executive committee.

Ms. Holly Miller-Gentry is of counsel with the law firm of Jeyaram & Asociates, P.C. She has a background in medical malpractice and general litigation, as well as residential real estate law. 

Ms. Miller-Gentry's experience includes several years experience with Hall, Booth, Smith & Slover, P.C. and as an associate managing attorneyw ith Neel & Robinson, P.C.
