Ms. Childers began her career in healthcare working in the Benefit Integrity Unit at CIGNA HealthCare’s Nashville, Tennessee office. Ms. Childers developed a detailed understanding of Medicare fraud and the investigative procedures utilized by government agencies such as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). She continued working at CIGNA as a Financial Analyst where she was responsible for preparing quarterly reports for submission to CMS. After four years with CIGNA, Ms. Childers joined the Financial Reporting team at AIM Healthcare, Inc. in Franklin, Tennessee, as a Financial Analyst.
After working for five years in the healthcare industry, Ms. Childers decided to attend law school. Ms. Childers and her family relocated to Georgia upon her graduation from law school. Ms. Childers handles a variety of cases, including:
